What is MAPSOSCARY??

MAPSOSCARY officially launched in 2019 on @livelovemaplewood’s Instagram feed by Photographer Jamie Meier. It began as a photo collection of Maplewood and South Orange’s creatively decorated Halloween houses. The people loved it! They asked for more! They decorated for Halloween like never before!!

Why?? Because the residents of Maplewood and South Orange are FUN, CREATIVE, INVENTIVE, and a LITTLE CRAZY (in a GOOD way!!!).

For a couple years it was a house contest. It was fun… but sometimes change is good…

Now, it’s the community MAPSOSCARY Halloween House map that residents look forward to every October.
